The Board of directors has extensive experience from a number of technology companies.
Tore Engebretsen
CHAIRMAN
Tore Engebretsen was a Co-Founder of VMETRO ASA and served as its CEO from 1986 to 2003. He was the Chairman of Nordic Semiconductor ASA 2001 – 2014 and of VMETRO ASA 2003 – 2008. He received the Norwegian Chairman of the Year in Norway in 2005 and has a long track record of assisting startup companies as an investor and a board member, including Elliptic Laboratories, Squarehead Technologies, 3d-Radar and more. Engebretsen received a cand. real. degree in theoretical astrophysics from the University of Oslo in 1978.
Ottar Hovind
BOARD MEMBER
Ottar Hovind is currently the director of Simula Innovation AS. He previously served as COO of Simula Research Laboratory and he has several years of experience from various privately held companies and as a lawyer both in the law firm Ræder, and through his own legal practice. Hovind is the chairman and board member of several companies including Kalkulo AS, Celerway Communications AS and Testify AS. Hovind graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo, and has a master of Commercial Law from the London School of Economics.
Nina Bøyum
ADVISOR TO THE BOARD
Nina Bøyum is currently the CEO of TransPacket. Prior to TransPacket, she was the CTO at Wema System AS. Bøyum has a strong track-record from the telecom industry including management and executive positions from Siemens and ADVA Optical Networking. She was a key player building up ADVA both in Europe and China. Bøyum has been a non-executive Board Member in TransPacket since 2011. She is also member of the board in 3d-Radar. Bøyum received a a M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Oslo in 1990.
